My name is Radek Břicháč. I was born 5.9.1971 in Mariánské Lázně where I attended a Primary School of Arts since my early childhood. I played the piano and later I started playing drums by a tutor Mr. Josef Šorejs. I’ve been playing drums since I was 15. I was a member of few school orchestras. The most famous orchestra was a Junior Big Band of the Elementary School of Arts F. Chopin.

When I was 18 I successfully passed talent exams for the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory in Prague. 
I studied six years under Professor Ivan Smažík’s direction. During my studies I acquired experience in few bands and orchestras. I can remember some of them – Normal People, Window and Return to Silence.
I gave a guest performance in a National Theatre Drama Orchestra as an outside worker.
After I successfully finished my studies, I went to the USA, Miami, to gain new experience. I practised in an orchestra Majesty of the Seas, in a company Royal Caribbean and in a dance band. I came back to the Czech Republic when my 9 month contract terminated.

After I came home I began to perform in a band Laura and her Tigers.
Further I renewed cooperation with a band Trevor Blanchet. Moreover, I am a member of a Jazz Quartet. I occupy myself with educational activities in an Elementary School of Arts in Říčany and in an Elementary School of Arts in Libčice nad Vltavou.
In 2002 I concluded a contract with a singer David Kraus. It was a contract on recording his debut album and performing at his debut album as well.
Nowadays I have recorded two records with the band Laura and her Tigers at which I have not performed any more.

I am also a bandmaster in a drummers group Samba Band.
I have still been cooperating with David Kraus’ band, both during concerts, record making and in a Jan Kraus’ TV program Uvolněte se, prosím (Relax, please).    
At this time I have also been cooperating with The Bobblers, a band from Teplice.

I have already been active in educational activities over 16 years, which has helped me to gain lot of experience and success. I can name some students as examples, who, under my direction, succeeded in passing exams forJaroslav Ježek Conservatory.

A new applicant is a student Michal Daněk. Last of my success - I have got a position as a company drum player MAPEX and cymbals player ANATOLJAN

Now, I have to tell some news. Student Michal Daněk is now passed as a student of KJJ. I finished my teaching on Libčice Elementary Art School. Trevor Blancher and The Bubblers bands have a break now. I play in new band - Lubos Maly´s quartet - Jazzmazec. For order, now I play in bands: David Kraus band, Fabrik, Jazzmazec, Sambaband and signed on player. I still teach drums playing on Elementary Arts School in Ricany.
